Elizabeth Clemmons is Assistant Research Professor in Biblical Studies. She earned her doctorate at the University of Notre Dame in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity with a dissertation on the meaning of the union in the Song of Songs in light of references to the social fabric. Dr. Clemmons' research and teaching interests are wisdom literature, biblical theology and literary analysis, and Ancient Near Eastern literature and the Bible.
