Throughout the year, the School of Theology and Religious Studies shares various job opportunities with STRSSA so that we can share these with the students.

Also available is a list of opportunities for students who are completing their studies and looking for full time positions inculding tenure track faculty.

Students may also be interested in working on campus full time while finishing coursework or during the dissertation stage. Available positions on campus can be found through Human Resources.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Secretariat of Evangelization and Catechesis is seeking applicants for an internship at the Conference. My office is currently looking for a graduate student in theology who is looking to work 15 to 20 hours a week.

This internship offers various opportunities such as:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with USCCB offices, diocesan representatives, and outside vendors.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing programs.
  • Reviewing and compiling information related to the department/office/secretariat's mission.
  • Assisting with the creation and review of educational resources and activities.
  • Revising and updating web resources, assisting in special projects, etc.

As a doctoral student in systematic theology myself, I wanted to extend an invitation to fellow graduate students at the School of TRS to apply for this internship. For more information on this internship or other internship opportunities at the USCCB, please see www.usccb.org and click on "About USCCB" and on the drop down menu, "USCCB Employment." Once there you will see available internship opportunities and how to apply. Sincerely in Christ,
