Rodrigue's translation of Isaac of Antioch's (5th C) text is the first English translation of his hymn on fasting.

Brett Smith (Historical/Systematic) presented a paper entitled "Luther and Aquinas on Merit" at the Martin Luther and Catholic Theology International Conference in Maynooth, Ireland in May 2015. The conference was an ecumenical gathering of European and American scholars in anticipation of the upcoming 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation. A conference volume is planned to appear in time for the anniversary in 2017.
