Brian Giessuebel
A transplant from New Jersey in the late 60s to Orlando, Florida, Brian Giessuebel’s career has entered its fourth decade in Real Estate Development specializing in commercial, medical and religious ventures. Graduating from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Brian has used his experience in real estate development to create and complete several hundred projects throughout his 35-year career. Most recently he used his expertise in design and construction project/administration management and executive management of facility operations to expand two of the largest non-profit organizations in the state of Florida. As a retired general contractor Brian is currently using his development knowledge as a consultant to assist the nation’s largest defense contractor with their expansion plans in Central Florida.

He currently is a member of The Catholic University of America’s Parents Council and served for 6-years as a Board member on the City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board and as a Board member of the Winter Park Day Nursery School. Brian will join his wife, Frances as a new member of the School of Theology and Religious Studies (TRS) Board of Visitors and is committed to expanding the programs offered and strengthening Catholic faith formation to all students attending The Catholic University of America. When not keeping busy, you can find him playing golf around the US and especially at his club in Dornoch, Scotland. Brian and his wife Frances along with their son Joseph (The Catholic University of America, School of Theology and Religious Studies, Class of 2023) also enjoy traveling to Europe the Caribbean and throughout the United States and Canada. Brian and his wife reside in both Orlando, Florida and Arlington, Virginia.
