Originally from Adrian, Michigan, Frances Giessuebel’s career spans 30 plus years in Education. Upon graduating from Eastern Michigan University with double majors in Spanish and Public Administration she taught high school Spanish for nearly 14 years. But her love for books and libraries took over and she obtained a Certification to become a Library Media Specialist for grades K-12. Frances also enjoys music both as a pianist and a 37-year member of the St. James Cathedral Choir in Orlando, Florida. Another passion is her love of travel which started with her parents and now for the past 30 years with her husband Brian and son Joseph who attends The Catholic University of America and is double majoring in both Theology and Chemistry, Class of 2023. Both Frances and her husband are currently enjoying their second year as members on the Parents Council at The Catholic University of America. As a new member of the Board of Visitors for the School of Theology and Religious Studies her hope is to be able to help foster growth of Catholic faith and resources to those college students currently studying at The Catholic University of America and for those individuals who want to attend the University. Frances and Brian reside in both Orlando, Florida and Arlington, Va.
