Nicholas Tenaglia grew up in Staten Island, New York. He attended undergrad at Villanova University and medical school training at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a board certified Psychiatrist and Child Psychiatrist. Dr. Tenaglia served as a major in the Army from 1969-1971 stationed at Fort Bragg where he started the first substance abuse program for veterans returning from Viet Nam. He has a long history of founding and developing Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Treatment Centers. Currently Dr. Tenaglia is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Malvern Treatment Centers. This system provides psychiatric and mental health care through a variety of treatment modalities for children, adolescents, and adults.
