The Institutes housed in the School of Theology and Religious Studies exist to bridge the exacting research carried on by Catholic University scholars – faculty and graduate researchers alike – and the needs of communities, both local and international. In their ongoing work, the Institutes partner with and welcome both public conversation and community cooperation.

Institute for Interreligious Study and Dialogue
Welcome to the Institute for Interreligious Study and Dialogue
Following the lead of the bishops of the Second Vatican Council in their declaration Nostra Aetate fifty years ago, our institute wants to engage in study and enhancement of dialogue with people of other religions.
On this website you will find some of the current and past events. You will also find some useful links and sources. Hopefully we can show you how dialogue is part of the mission of the Church and of this University.
