On Sunday, July 28th, Dr. John Grabowski and his wife, Clare, presented "The Theology of the Body in Everyday Life" at St. Dominic's Church in Washington, DC as part of their summer "Faith & Sexuality" series. The talk gave an overview of the Theology of the Body of St. John Paul II, ways it has been carried forward in the ministry of Pope Francis, and touched on its significance for aspects of the life of a family: sexual intimacy between husband and wife, fertility and the gift of children, caring for one another during times of illness or suffering, women's experience of childbirth and breastfeeding, and family prayer.
