Our Counselors

Our team of undergraduate CUA counselors are some of the most faith-filled, outgoing, and fun students from across the country. The counselors study a variety of majors at CUA and perform at the highest levels. They are very excited to meet, guide, and walk this journey of faith/culture with the youth they encounter.

School of Theology and Religious Studies

Light the World! is housed in the School of Theology and Religious Studies at CUA. This provides access to internationally renowned theologians who are faculty members that serve as advisers to the program. Additionally, these theologians present on the academic connection of faith and art, sports, business, science, and politics during Light the World!

The Catholic University of America

The Catholic University of America is unique as the national university of the Catholic Church and as the only higher education institution founded by the U.S. bishops. We are privileged to have CUA as host for our Light the World! Institute as our participants get to be in the heart of our nation’s Capital with the comforting and unique experience of a college campus. CatholicU provides a foundation of faith, fellowship, and academics making it a natural home for Light the World!
