Dr Boxall Publishes Monograph entitled Patmos in the Reception History of the Apocalypse
Dr Ian Boxall has recently published a monograph entitled Patmos in the Reception History of the Apocalypse (Oxford University Press). This book explores the significance accorded to John's island of Patmos (Rev. 1:9) within the wider reception history of the Apocalypse from the second through twenty-first centuries , including interpretations in visual art.
