Msgr. Irwin Presents at 2013 Convocation Assembly for Oblates of St. Francis De Sales
On June 26th former Dean Msgr. Kevin Irwin gave presentations at the Convocation Assembly 2013 of both provinces of the Oblates of St. Francis De Sales at De Sales University, Allentown, Pa. entitled "What We Have Done, What We Have Failed To Do -- Assessing the Liturgical Reforms of Vatican II Fifty Years Later." His presentations were preceded the day before by talks by John O'Malley, SJ Johannes Quasten awardee from STRS and followed the next day by talks by Andrew Ciferni, O. Praem. former STRS faculty member. During the Convocation he spoke with the students and the vocation director from the western province of the Oblates who will be moving to D.C. this summer and attending STRS this fall.
