Dr. Toom Gives Opening Paper at International Patristic Conference
Dr. Tarmo Toom gave an opening paper at an International Patristic Conference "Between religio licita and religio regalis: The Church and Theology of the Times of Change" (The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland; Oct 21-23). His paper was titled "Constantine's Deus Summus and the Nicene Unus Deus: Imperial Agenda and Ecclesiastical Conviction" and it compared the imperial and concilar concepts of God.
