Dr. Dinges Hosts Austrian Group
During the week of February 15th, Prof. William D. Dinges hosted a visit by a group of Austrian priests, educators, and pastoral workers under the leadership of Dr. Georg Plank and his Pastoral Innovation (dem Heiligen Geist einen Landeplatz bereiten) Program. Visits were made to various churches/parishes in the Washington, D.C., area, along with meetings at the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate, the USCCB Migration and Refugee Services Department, the Austrian Embassy, and with other pastoral organizations. Dr. Plank's group was greeted by Msgr. Paul McPartlan, acting dean of STRS, and also met for discussion time with Dr. Dinges's Religion and Globalization seminar.
