The Roland E. Murphy Memorial lecture - Dr. Peter Machinist, "Achaemenid Persia as Spectacle: Greek and Biblical Reactions"
All Graduate Students and Interested Faculty are invited to Biblical Studies's annual Roland E. Murphy Memorial Lecture on Monday, April 20, 2015, 7:00 pm, Caldwell Hall - Happel Room . This year Dr. Peter Machinist, the Hancock Professor of Hebrew and other Oriental Languages at Harvard University, will present his paper "Achaemenid Persia as Spectacle: Greek and Biblical Reactions."
