The new STRS "Science for Seminaries" web page provides resources for religious leaders and teachers seeking to develop scientific literacy and concerned about the intersection of science and theology. The site is specifically geared toward religious leaders (pastors and educators) to whom people look for guidance about the meaning of scientific developments for matters of faith and ethics. However, many religious leaders are not adequately prepared to address these concerns due to a lack of scientific education within their own formation. This site seeks to address that deficiency, and is funded by a generous grant by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Presently, the site collects helpful links for developing scientific literacy. In the future, it will also include lesson ideas for theological teachers seeking to incorporate science into their courses. If you have curricular ideas that might be included on the website, please contact David Bosworth ( bosworth@cua.edu ).
