On December 7, 2015, Dr Grabowski gave a presentation entitled "The Synod on Family-What Really Happened and What Does It Mean" at St. Ignatius Church in Ijamsville, MD. The presentation dealt with the nature of synods, the two recent synods on family in light of Pope Francis's call for a "synodal Church" and his pontificate as a whole, considered critical theological questions facing the Church in the aftermath of these event. Particular attention was devoted to the implantation of the Synod's vision on the parish level.
