Fr. Witczak Presented at the NAAL Conference

Fr. Michael Witczak, associate professor of liturgical studies in the School of Theology and Religious Studies, presented two paper at the annual meeting of the North American Academy of Liturgy (NAAL), held January 5-8 at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown District of Columbia. He presented the paper "Evolving Theologies of Priesthood: The Private Prayers of the Priest in the Roman Missal of 1962 and 2002 - The Introductory Rites" to the seminar on Issues in Medieval Liturgy. In conjunction with former STRS adjunct faculty member, Dr. Katherine Harmon,  he presented "Defining the Spirituality of the Liturgical Movement" to the seminar on Historical Research: Sixteenth Century to the Present. Fr. Witczak is a past president of the NAAL.
