Archbishop Wilton Gregory, archbishop of Atlanta and recently elected Chair of the USCCB Committee for Divine Worship,b has reappointed Msgr. Irwin as a Consultor to that committee. Msgr. Irwin held that position from 1992-95 and from 2004 to the present. This renewed three year appointment makes Msgr. Irwin the longest serving consultor to the Committee in its fifty year history.
