Dr. Jensen is the Patrick O'Brien Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame; she is trained in both the history of art and Christian doctrine and liturgy, and her research explores intersections between theology, liturgical practice, and material/visual culture, paying close attention to art and architecture in light of its ritual function and religious significance.
