As a consultant to the Papal Commission on the Protection of Minors, Msgr Stephen J Rossetti, Research Associate Professor in STRS, was asked to travel to Colombia to assist in their child protection efforts.  January 24 to Feb 3, he gave six workshops in Bogota, Cali and Villavicencio to bishops, priests, religious and lay professionals engaged in the work of child protection.  He also met with child protection officers and church leaders to discuss their efforts to date and offered suggestions for the future.  He made the trip with Bishop Ali Herrera, Auxiliary Bishop of Bogota and a member of the Pontifical Commission.
