On 29 March 2017, Msgr Paul McPartlan delivered the third and final of his Chester and Margaret Paluch Lectures this year at the University of St Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary. Among the audience for the open lecture, entitled "Priesthood and the Deacon,", were a number of permanent deacons from the Archdiocese of Chicago. All three Paluch lectures will be published this Fall in Chicago Studies.
