Msgr. Michael Clay, clinical associate professor and associate dean of seminary and ministerial programs in STRS, represented the school at an international meeting of 17 academic centers offering degrees in evangelization sponsored by the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization (PCPNE) on April 26-27. The meeting was the first of its kind held by the relatively new Council to understand how schools are training future leaders in evangelization and to explore specific issues of interest to the Council. Msgr. Clay, director of the evangelization concentration in the Doctor of Ministry degree program, provided an overview of the program which generated a lot of interest by the other academic centers and the PCPNE leaders.
