2017 STRS Dean's Vespers Annually, the School of Theology and Religious Studies hosts Vespers to give thanks to God for his blessings and to ask for His grace to sustain us in the new academic year. This year, St. Cyriacos the Anchorite, a hermit known for seeking to live a life in the likeness of God, was the saint commemorated. During his homily, Dean Morozowich, encouraged everyone to review how God exists in each of our lives and challenged us to imitate the life of St. Cyriacos. "We must seek like Cyriacos to put aside our old selves to be a sign of God's blessings to the world. Each of us are called to live in the likeness of God. Each of us are called to renew our minds, and how fitting it is that as students, staff, and faculty at the Catholic University of America, we are renewing our minds, renewing our world, renewing ourselves to grow into the fullest extent as human beings, human beings made to love," said Father Mark.
