The Abbot Primate of the International Benedictine Confederation, Gregory Polan OSB, has appointed Msgr. Kevin Irwin to the newly created Board of Advisors for the Benedictine Ateneo of Sant'Anselmo for a term of four years. The Board consists of nine members, five elected by the international abbots' confederation and four appointed members, including Msgr. Irwin. He is an alumnus of Sant'Anselmo and taught there as a visiting professor in 2016. The first meeting of the Board is on Oct. 16-17in Rome.
