On April 4-6, 2018, the School of Theology and Religious Studies welcomed scholars and ministers from across the nation to The Catholic University of America for the 50th Anniversary Symposium for Humanae Vitae. The 50th Anniversary Symposium focused on the foundation of all human relationships in Christ’s work of redemption which has restored and made new God’s original plan for the human person, human sexuality, and marriage, offering light and healing to all. Catholic University of America’s Dr. John Grabowski served as a moderator at one of the conference sessions and gave a panel presentation on “Signs of Hope and Healing in Theology.” The presentation gave an overview of developments in Catholic theology over the last 50 years which show the rich and deep basis for the teaching of Humanae Vitae in scripture and tradition.
