From 23-26 April 2018, Msgr Paul McPartlan took part in the first international conference to reflect on Catholic-Orthodox dialogue with representatives of all the main dialogues, both international and regional, currently in existence. Under the title, "Crossroads of Theological Dialogues: Reflecting on New Perspectives for Catholic-Orthodox Encounters", the conference, jointly organised by Pro Oriente, the Orthodox Academy of Crete, and the Johann-Adam-Möhler-Institut für Ökumenik in Paderborn, took place at the Orthodox Academy of Crete. Msgr McPartlan gave a presentation on the North American dialogue, and spoke too of the joint international dialogue to which he also belongs.
