From 5-7 June 2018, Msgr Paul McPartlan co-chaired a meeting in Cyprus of a sub-commission of the international Catholic-Orthodox theological dialogue, tasked with identifying the issues, theological and canonical, that remain to be resolved between Catholics and Orthodox if unity in faith is to be established, opening the way to eucharistic communion. A draft document has been prepared, and will be considered by the Coordinating Committee of the dialogue at a meeting this Fall at the Monastery of Bose, Italy.
