Dr. Grabowski published an article
John S. Grabowski and Christopher Gross, "An Analysis of GSUSA's Policy of Serving Transgender Youth: Implications for Catholic Practice" Journal of Moral Theology 5:1 (2016): 86-110. The essay examines the transgender phenomenon in itself, through the lens of clinical psychology, and from the vantage of recent Catholic teaching. The piece argues that though labeling children as "transgender" is misguided and may represent a failure on the part of adults to responsibly care for them, the policy of GSUSA on this issue by itself does not in itself warrant Catholic parishes or schools cutting ties with the organization.
