Dr. Bosworth presented a paper "Infant Weeping in Hebrew and Greek Infant Abandonment Stories" at the Catholic Biblical Association annual meeting at Santa Clara University in San Jose, CA, August 6-9. Recent CUA graduate Lesley DiFransico presented "The Metaphorical Removal of Sin in the Hebrew Bible." Her revised dissertation Washing Away Sin: An Analysis of the Metaphor in the Hebrew Bible and Its Influence is forthcoming from Peeters. Recent CUA graduate Nathan LaMontagne and current student María Rodríguez were also in attendance.
