Dr. Bosworth attended the "Science for Seminaries" retreat in Newagen, Maine and presented three talks about CUA's experience of the "Science for Seminaries" grant for Catholic and Orthodox seminary faculty interested in incorporating science into their courses. He focused on how to develop scientific literacy, which included reference to the STRS Science for Seminaries website , how (not) to incorporate psychology into a Psalms class, and how (not) to involve Laudato Si' in a theology class. Nancy Adleman , neuroscientist and assistant Professor in CUA's Psychology Department and Anton Koekemoer of the Hubble Telescope ( Space Telescope Science Institute ) both served as science advisors to STRS and also presented at the retreat. In the evenings, Dr. Koekemoer brought out a telescope present at the retreat house to show attendees celestial lights, including Jupiter and Saturn.
