Dr. Grabowski led study days for the faculty of St. Meinrad Archabbey

On Thursday September 22 and Friday September 23 Dr. Grabowski led study days for the faculty of St. Meinrad Archabbey in New Harmony, IN.  The topics of the the study sessions included the following:

1) " Pope Francis, Family and Evangelization: An Interpretation"--The session considered Pope Francis' s vision for the the role of families,  the purpose of the recent Synods, and how these fit into his ministry as a whole.

2 ) "Amoris laetitia :  Overview and Some specific Issues"--This segment provided an overview of the recent Apostolic exhortation, it's continuity with other recent magisterial teaching, its contributions, and what it does and does not say about changes to the Church's sacramental discipline.

3)  "Forming Families and those Who Minister to Them (marriage & seminary formation)": This session focused on the challenges of re-thinking marriage and family formation in terms of accompaniment for a life-long vocation and not merely marriage preparation and what this means for seminary educators.
